The presumably early-war-period piece is executed in (typical) field-grey-coloured wool and shows a greyish-brown-coloured- (and linnen-type) lining (that shows some minimal wear and slight fading). The cap is totally void of any maker- nor size-designation.
The cap comes without any insignia (some stitching-remains are, however, still visible). The cap comes without sweat-band installed and has two brownish-yellow-coloured (and resin-based) closing-buttons in place.
The side-cap - which is of the 'typical' mountain-troopers'- ie. Austrian-model having a short-sized visor in place - comes in an overall nice condition but does show some moderate age, staining and/or wear. It is approximately 57/58 cms. and will with certainty fit a mannequins'-head.
