Nickel-plated steel blade showing the etched motto of the SS "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". RZM "120/34 SS" maker marked (unknown). Small spots and light file marks on the tip. The blade was replaced contemporary. Possibly it was a "Röhm" dagger once. His name had to be removed from the blade (dedication) after the "Röhm Putsch" in 1934. The SS members handled it differently. Some exchanged the blade, others removed his name.
Black wooden handle with inlaid SS roundel and national eagle. Minor "chipping" on the edges. Early nickel fittings. "I" is marked on the bottom crossguard. Original black anodized steel scabbard with nickel fittings. All four screws are in place. The ball is slightly bent and has a few small dents.
