Blade shows Robert Klaase trade mark. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show superb detail to eagle head pommel and oak leaf embellished crossguard with minor wear to highlight of the release button, but no lifting or loss of plating.  Reverse crossguard is stamped, “S.H. 65” (Schutzpolizei/Municipal Police Property, administrative district mark and weapon number “65”. Dark brown stag horn grip plates show almost no surface wear with no cracks or chips, and with the Third Reich Police eagle properly pinned to the obverse plate. Plated blade measuring 33 cm in length in good condition showing light surface wear/runner marks, but surface speckling, and some lifting or pitting, but no nicks to cutting edge. Spine of blade shows no Waffen-Amt marks, blade has the brown leather buffer pad. Black leather scabbard shows minor surface wear but minor swelling, but no rips, tears, creasing or damage to the reverse stitching.  Nickel-plated scabbard fittings show surface wear but no dent to the lower fitting, and no damage to the lower ball and are complete with both retaining staples. Upper fitting stamped with the Municipal Police Property and weapon number, matching to the dagger. The black leather frog is in fine condition. Comes with porteepee.
