Rare Luftwaffe parade bayonet KS 98. Made by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen.
An excellent etched blade on one side. It shows the eagle of the Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht as well as the inscription "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit". Also fine ornamentation. "Carl Eickhorn" maker marked. The other side shows the name and location of the military merchant "FERD. ERDT KAUFBEUREN". A nice clean blade, however, slightly loose. Condition 1-.
Black bakelite grip plates. No damage. Nickel-plated hilt fittings. Original black painted steel scabbard. Slightly bent to the top (near the "ball"). Including the black leather frog and bayonet knot. The seam of the leather frog has opened. However, it can be repaired. See the pictures, please.
