Heer visor cap for officers

Description

Heer visor cap for a civil servant.

Branch: Beamter. Dark green color piping

Insignia: Hand-embroidered officer's pattern wreath badge. Attached by hand. Aluminum cap eagle.

While officers usually had worn hand-embroidered bullion insignia, period time photos prove that it was also common for officers to wear a hand-embroidered wreath badge along with a metal cap eagle.

Chin strap: textbook officer's strap. Correct buttons period time attached.

Lining: Fine orange color linen lining.
Celluloid diamond: intact

Maker's mark: Ludwig Vögele
Sweat-band: Signs of wear. Damage. Re-sewns at some point.
