A rather early Gebirgsjäger visor cap worn by an officer serving with Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 139. Correct green piping. Typical orange color lining. Celluloid diamond missing.
"13./G.J.R.139" unit marked to the inside of the sweat-band.
Hand-embroidered officer's cap wreath and eagle attached very sloppy! Actually too sloppy for a collector. This could be a cap which was period time promoted by the owner by changing the insignia himself.
