Luftwaffe officers'-pattern side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchen') as was intended for usage by the various Luftwaffe commisioned- ie. officer-staff.
The piece is executed in (typical) 'smooth-type'- and bluish-coloured wool and shows a darker-blue-coloured (and linnen-based) lining. The side-cap shows a white-coloured, ink-stamped size-designation (that reads: '57 1/2').
The cap shows a white-on-blue-coloured, 'standard'-pattern (EM/NCO-type!) cap-eagle and dito cocarde in place (which are both attached by hand-stitching).
The side-cap comes in an overall very nice condition and shows only minimal age and/or wear. It is approximately 57 cms. sized and will with certainty fit a mannequins'-head.
