Luftwaffe flying troops visor cap named to Gefreiter Gottfried Dietz. Consigned by his son and never available on the market before! Please see last picture for a photo of Gottfried Dietz wearing exactly this cap! The orignal photo however remains with this son and is not part of this offer. There is also a picture of a photo showing Dietz wearing his pilot's suit and a his parachute jumping out of an aircraft.
Textbook visor cap with separately attached white summer cover. Removable and secured with the original button. 100% period time attached aluminum cap insignia. A 2nd pattern eagle.
Yellow piping. Blue cloth finished bottom. White lacquered sweat-band. It became quite hard over the decades so you can't turn it around anymore.
Fine silk lining Celluloid dimaond with a "Meisterklasse" maker's mark of "Franz Brückner". Original paper name tag "Gottf. Dietz Gefr."
Size 56/57. Only 3 tiny moth bites to the yellow piping. Nice shape! Original metal stabilization wire for the top in place.
