WH (Luftwaffe), EM/NCO-pattern, white-topped summer-type visor-cap (ie. 'Sommer-Schirmmütze') as was intended for usage by the various Luftwaffe non-commissioned staff serving within the anti-aircraft-troops ('Flak-Artillerie-Truppen').
The piece comes with a (removable) white-coloured top which is executed in (typical) white-coloured- and 'smooth'-style linnen. The cap itself has the bright-red-coloured- and woolen-type piping attached and shows a beige-coloured (and 'silk-like'-type-) lining and 'Celluloid'-based diamond, installed. This diamond is totally undamaged and shows a printed makers'-designation (or: logo) that reads: 'Hans Pöllmann - München - Barerstr. 64' next to this it also shows a name-tag that reads: 'Kanonier A.Obern III/?t.' (as can be seen on the pictures).
The cap shows a 'standard'-pattern, early-model, silver-coloured- and aluminium-based cap-eagle and dito visor-cap-cocarde in place (which are both very detailed and which are firmly attached). The beige-coloured sweat-band is also fully intact and nicely preserved (which is void of any marking). The cap comes with its undamaged (and green-backed) visor and (period) leather-based cap-strap ('Sturmriemen') in place.
The cap - which has retained a nice shape - comes in an overall very nice condition and shows hardly any age nor wear. It is approximately 57/58 cms. sized and will with certainty fit a mannequins'-head.
