A very early German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer in 1938.
Paint: Original factory paint. Around 95% still present. Normal signs of wear.
Decals: The eagle decal is about 95%. The national decal is about 85%.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Darkened. Original cord.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
