Early double-decal helmet made by Eisenhüttenwerk Thale. The helmet was overpainted after the war and the light-green paint was carefully removed again. To the dome, you still see overpainted rust pits. Bits of modern paint are also visible to the outseide.
The eagle decal still comes in very nice condition. Most parts of the national shield look painted.
