A luftwaffe M35 helmet that is complete and painted for field division use.
The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.
Original factory paint is present and poking through some of the field grey paint that was added probably around 1940.
The Eagle decal is very clear but the swaztika was removed at somepoint showing some of the original blue paint.
Liner appears original and servicable with original cord with leather. there was a name written into the liner which is scratched out and now unreadable.
Chin strap in black leather is present but the end is broken off,
Stamped Q64: for Quist wit a lot number that is painted over but appears to be 20747.
This is a really honest helmet that was denazified but still resembles its use during the war.
