Very interesting M40 Luftwaffe helmet. "CIVIL FREI SERVICE FEUERWEHR" is written to the front side. Most probably, this helmet was used in the early postwar years as a fire brigade helmet in the US or British zone.
This helmet had a 3 color camo paint period time. There are bits of camo paint left.
The helmet was issued with one eagle decal.
