Heer double decal M18 helmet which was re-issued after 1935.
Over 85% of the original 1930s period time fieldgrey paint. Both decals in place but only about 40%. Untouched leather liner in size 56 which most definitely belonged to this helmet! The prongs of the rivets remained unopened.
1930s period time chin strap.
It looks that this helmet was overpainted with black color after 1945 once. The color was professionally removed. Only a few bits are still left. While grey color is in very nice condition, the decal have clearly suffered.
No markings visible to the shell.
Including a very nice red-yellow manoeuvre helmet band which a "12.Kp. I." unit marking.
