WW period time M18 helmet which was re-issued after 1935 to be worn by a Wehrmacht soldier. The shell shows original WW1 period time factory paint as well as around 50% of the Wehrmacht paint.
This shell comes with two decals. The eagle decal is nearly 100% and comes in great condition.The national shield is only about 40-50%. In fact you can see that parts of it were repainted to make it more complete.
The shell looks to be unmarked. It comes with a dent to the rimm. The leather liner is original but comes with a modern shoe laces attached. The liner was oiled and shows damage. It is not original attached to the shell.
Liner "Lt. Hans Sturm" named. Shell 66 size marked. The maker could be EF or ET.
