German M18 helmet which was re-issued with at least one decal after 1935. The helmet was later worn as a winter camo helmet. The white camo paint is absolutely authentic and still covers about 80% of the shell. The eagle decal is original to this helmet and was surely uncovered after the war by a collector. The paint has badly damaged the decal. The national shield might still be covered under the original paint.
Original Wehrmacht liner and 1940 dated and maker marked chin strap. No markings visible. Liner size 58/59.
