Wehrmacht well worn M35 double decal helmet. This helmet received another grey paint possible around 1940-41 which covered the original decals. Both layers of paint including the decals show many signs of wear. Also quite a bit of rust.
The liner (dry) seems to be the original one to this helmet. It has shrunken a little. The rivets do sit quite strong. Original chin strap as well. The top bit was cut off.
The shell is lot number stamped. The maker mark is not readable. You can guess the "E" only.
