Rare M38 Luftwaffe helmet which was only issued to German paratroopers during WWII. A textbook helmet issued with a single eagle decal in worn condition.
Original attached size 57 leather liner. It is still flexible and comes with minor cracks. Original 2nd pattern chin straps. Flexible. Some rust to the iron buckle. Typical press buttons.
Original zin inner ring with matching soft pads. Original attached rivets with matching color. "4986" lot numbered as well as ET68 size and factory marked.
The original factory paint and the eagle decal are about 90%.
