Excellent and very rare Heer M40 helmet which was issued with two decals. Two decals are very hard to find on an M40 helmet. By order, the national shield was removed period time. The eagle decal is still nearly 100%.
The EF66 marked shell comes with well over 95% of the original "rough" factory paint. The leather liner is 100% original to the shell (prongs were never opened) and still very soft. It is "57" size marked. The chin strap is in fantastic condition and maker mark (KAMM & ???). Most probably also dated but the markings are barely readable. It definitely belongs to this helmet.
