Excellent unworn 1938 Kreissieger Badge in rare case of issue. Badge in condition 1. Impossible to upgrade. G.BREHMER maker marked to the reverse.
Rare cardboard case of issue extremely rare. Two inner edges fixed with old paper tape. Signs of age. Very hard to come by.
Hans Sabatier served with III. Seenot-Gruppe der Luftwaffe u. Seenotdienstführer Mittelmeer as a Bordfunker (radio operator). His unit, which was 6. Seenotstafel based in Syrakus, Sicilia, has rescued over 500 pilot's and flight crew members. Sabatier was shot down on 1.11.1943 in Italy. Sabatier was highly decorated: 1939 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, Radio Operator Badge, Squadron Clasp for Aufklärer in bronze, silver and gold, 1938 Kreissieger Badge, Sudetenland Medal, Sports Badge.
His grouping was purchased by a local collector by the family. The first owner of the grouping is our consignor. The grouping was never available on the market.
