Blood Order (Decoration in Memory of 9 November 1923)

Description
Rare NSDAP "Blood Order" 1st pattern (Ehrenzeichen vom 9. November 1923) awarded to NSDAP member and SA-Sturmbannführer Walter Zeichner. NDSAP membership number: 437 570. Zeichner was also awarded the "Coburg Badge". Zeichner served with 7. Kompanie of SA-Regiment München during the „Hitler-Putsch“. Zeichner was later officially expelled frmo the NSDAP in November 1942 for using faked train tickets and identifications to charge travel expenses. He twice unsuccessfully tried to rejoin the NSDAP.
 
"Blood Order" manufactured by Fuess, München. "620" numbered. "990" silver stamped. "JOS.FUESS MÜNCHEN" maker marked. Originally mounted  ribbon (6cm).
Good condition with clear signs of wear. Original finish remaining.
