Dr. Fritz Todt Award Silver Honor Pin

Description

Rare grouping to Dr.-Ing. Fritz Gutzmann. He was the lead engineer for the development of the Goliath transmitter from 1943 until 1945. Goliath was the main German radio transmitter for submarine communications. The grouping comes directly from the family and has never been on the market.

Dr. Fritz Todt Prize in Silver. Made from zinc. Around 10% of the original silver plating is in place. No maker's mark. Comes with the matching 9mm miniature. Including the original case of issue.

Eight postwar photos showing Fritz Gutzmann at work. He probably worked for the Soviet Russian military. Also, a photo showing him during the Third Reich and a child's photo of him.

Hard to find!
