Heer field tunic (privately purchased) EM/NCO

Description

A very interesting field tunic for an Oberfeldwebel who served as a "Spieß" with Infanterie-Regiment 25. A depot issued "B38" stamped tunic similar to an M36 pattern but with a completely different lining.

All insignia look to be absolutely period time attached. The collar tabs and the NCO tress was attached by machine. The embroidered  breast eagle is accurately attached by hand. Hand-attached Iron Cross ribbon. Three pair of award loops.

Machine-attached "Spieß" rings. Complete buttons. Slip-on shoulder boards with minor mothing. Early style "25" cyphers with nice patina.

Silk lining with depot and size markings.

Medium size. No moth damage apart from minor damage to the shoulder boards only.
