A period time privately purchased Heer field tunic designed like an M36 pattern. The earliest pattern was considered very elegant with its dark green collar and insignia and the preferred design of most soldiers.
Breast eagle: machine-woven NCO / officer's pattern on dark green backing. Period time attached by hand.
Collar tabs: period time attached by machine
Shoulder boards: infantry Oberfeldwebel boards. Sewn-in.
Lining: silk. Unmarked. No tailor's or name tag.
Buttons: Period time attached. Complete
A very nice example with an original shooting lanyard and wistle. A 2 place ribbon bar attached through the liner.
