Bandoleer with cartridge pouch

Description

A fine Bavarian Cavaltry cartridge pouch with an unusual bandoleer.

Red leather pouch with a nickel-plated front plate. The front plate with the Bavarian coat of arms. Attached with five screws and nuts. Bottom with three silvered studs. All leather straps in place.

Bandoleer contracted from imperial medical officer's brocade which was usually used for a field belt. It comes with a green cloth backing. This bandoleer was certainly constructed in the 1930s or 1940s for some reason. Maybe this WW1 veteran ordered it at a tailor like that.

Minor moth holes. Aluminium metal parts.

Length: approximately 140 cm.

Good condition 2.
