Untouched German M16 camo helmet with so-called "mimikry" camo paint. Green, red and khaki paint bordered with black color. About 80% of the camo color are still in place. The helmet was clearly worn. It was made by C.Thiel & Söhne, Lübeck and is TJ66 stamped to the shell.
Some rust to the outside and inside. Typical leather lining attache to a metal ring. Leather partially dry and sometimes separated from the ring. Markings to the liner barely readable. Damaged cause by a mouse. MB initials were written to the liner. In addition, the shell looks to be named with pencil.
