Extremely rare German WW1 period time M18 helmet issued to cavalry troops. Made by Eisenhüttenwerk Thale, and "ET 64" maker and size marked to the shell.
Patina and rust to the shell, however, there is still at least 50% of the original factory paint left. Matching M18 lining with a metal ring in place. One prong missing. Partially loose. it needs to get re-attached professionally.
Leather lining complete. One of the pads with a long rip. All three cushions still inside.
Original chin strap. Partially dry. Damage and signs of use and age.
Uncleaned helmet! Extremely hard to find. Condition 3-.
