German WW1 period time M16 helmet which comes with original camo paint. A so-called "mimikry" paint showing red, green as well as khaki colors. Bordered by black paint. The paint is about 40% - 50%. The helmet shell is "Si.66" maker and size marked (Fa. Eisenhütte Silesia). Clearly worn shell with some rust.
Complete with all leather pads still attached to the original metal ring. One paid seriously damaged and repaired. One pocket empty. Both buttons 91 still attached holding fragments of the original leather chin strap.
Liner and ring loose. All three prongs in place. Ready to get re-attached to the shell.
