Very Interesting Austrian style M1/ Helmet with medium brown paint. The paint is about 50% with a nearly matching color patina showing where the paint is missing.
The helmet shows a stamp at the top of outer dome J 10 which is a key indicator that this is an Austrian example.
Inside there's an Austrian cotton web chinstrap with steel fittings and a complete three pad liner. The inside padding shows recycled period fabric used to construct the pads. The liner rivets are the correct type and do not appear to ever have been opened.
This is a difficult variant to find and will make a fine example in any collection.
