A very interesting extended medal bar. Medal bars can be creatively extended occasionally since they were to be sourced by the recipient. They, very often, had only limited funding available and got very crafty about adding to an existing assemble of medals. This bar is one of them. Due to more and more medals the bar was extended in the beginning and end. Prussia, Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914, Prussia, Officer’s Long Service Cross for 25 years of service, Prussia, Centennial Medal, Bremen, Hanseatic Cross, Oldenburg, Fredrick August Cross 2nd Class on combatant ribbon, Hamburg Hanseatic Cross, Austria, Military Merit Cross 3rd Class with War decoration and Weimar Republic, Honor Medal of WWI.
Full and intact needle system with termination of red felt.
