A very nice Bavarian reservist's mug to Franz Stömmer serving with Königlich Bayerisches 1. Schwere-Reiter-Regiment „Prinz Karl von Bayern", 3. Eskadron from 1907 until 1910 in München.
Finely painted porcelain mug with a portrait photo of Franz Stömmer to the front. Original pewter lid with a "large" figure to the top. It shows a Bavarian cavalryman. In his hand, he holds a lance. Including a list of names of his comrades, who served with him. "Gebr. Bergmann, München" marked. The lithophane bottom shows the portrait of König Ludwig II. of Bavaria. Well visible when the mug is held against the light.
