Heer Geb.Jäg.Rgt.138 "Cholm" field tunic - Lt. Moinnick

Important field tunic to Leutnant Moinnick serving with Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 138. Moinnick was awarded the Cholm Shield. This tunic comes with the shield period time (!) attached to the left sleeve. In fact, all insignia and buttons are period time attached.

Gebirgsjäger officer's collar tabs attached by machine. Sewn-in Leutnant shoulder boards with "138" regimental cyphers. Unknown orange loop attached to one board.

Hand-embroidered breast eagle correctly attached by hand. Three pairs of awards loops. One pair damaged. Clear signs of wear and patina. Small loops for small ribbon field bar which is still attached to the tunic.

Fine silk lining with a September 1942 name tag. The tunic was tailored by Kraft & Cie., Graz. 

Extremely rare original CHOLM shield. The shield is attached to its back plate with green coth backing between. The cloth is period time attached by hand. Iron shield. Long "M" type.

Some minor moth damage. Condition 2.

Medium size. Extremely rare!

We pack all the items very carefully to ensure they reach you safely. All medals are now packed using air cushion envelopes for extra protection, free of any extra charge to you. Uniforms are packed in special protection bags.
