An early SS Service Dagger including the original vertical leather hanger. Made by Gottlieb Hammesfahr, Solingen.

The crossguard comes with the SS-number "9292" of the recipient as well as "III" (Berlin) stamped. Earl nickel fittings. "Gottlieb Hammesfahr, Solingen" maker marked to the blade. Furthermore the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". The tip of the blade is minimal "reduced", around 2 mm. 

Black wooden grip with SS roundel and national eagle (nickel). One chip to the top and slight signs of use. Original black anodized scabbard. No dents. All four screws in place and unopened. Rests of a modern paper label to the reverse. It should be possible to remove it. 

Original black leather hanger. Soft leather. RZM "SS 1/34" maker marked. The snap-clip is fully working. "A" (Assmann) maker marked and "DRGM" stamped.

Nicely worn in good condition.
