Description

Waffen-SS field tunic to a Dutch Waffen-SS officer serving with 34. SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Division „Landstorm Nederland“ (niederländische Nr. 2). According to the name tag, it belonged to the Dutch officer Nikolaas Nieuwenhuijsen. Nieuwenhuijsen was born on 14.11.1889 and served as a SS-Sturmbannführer from 20.4.1944. Copies of his "SS Personalakte" will ship with the tunic. This tunic was discussed amongst collectors here.

Privately purchased officer's tunic which was certainly made in the Netherlands. The cloth and lining is clearly Dutch made.

Dutch volunteer's sleeve tab. Hand-embroidered officer's sleeve eagle.

Silk lining. Hand-attached name tag by a tailor based in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Hand-attached Including a white collar protection band.
