An intersting M42 Wehrmacht helmet with fieldgrey factory paint which received a camo paint in the field. A rather tan camo paint is still covering roughly 95% of the outer shell.

There look to have been two decals applied to the helmet which were postwar overpainted with paint.

The liner is a large size 60 and comes with the original cord. The dome is ABGENOMMEN stamped. There are no stamps visible to the shell but it must be a shell size 66-68.

Maker marked chin strap. The liner and chin strap are still very soft.
