Description

Fantastic uniform, medal and document grouping to Oberleutnant Leonhard Kondörfer He started serving as a young Gefreiter with Infanterie-Regiment 42 and was promoted up to an Oberleutnant serving with Infanterie-Regiment 72. He was wounded 5 times and awarded the Wound Badge in gold as well as the Iron Cross 1st Class!

Privately purchased parade tunic for an Oberleutnant serving with Infanterie-Regiment 72.

Fine silk lining. A large size "Friedrich Hofmann" tailor's tag attached. Period time attached loops for a ribbon bar and medals which are still on the tunic.
Hand-attached (very sloppy after promotion to an officer) officer's collar tabs. Accurately hand-attached officer's breast eagle. The shoulder boards are slipped on and attached a fine loops.

Hand-attached nice condition Krim Shield. Dark green cloth backing.
Five place ribbon bar in nice condition.
Iron Cross 1st Class with pin. Unmarked. Magnetic. Good condition
Wound Badge in gold. Tombak. Excellent condition. L/11 maker marked
Infantry Assault Badge in silver. Excellent condition. "FZS" maker marked. Semi-hollow. Zinc. 
Sport's Badge in bronze.

All buttons complete. The lower ones were attached to another position to the the owner's size.
Overall very nice condition with only a few moth bites if you look closely.

Heer infantry visor cap for an officer. Nice quality hand-embroidered officer's insignia attached by hand. Complete with its officer's chin strap. 
Grey sweat-band with signs of use. Not too soft anymore. Silk lining. Intact celluloid diamond.
Minor moth damage. Size 56.

Five-place medal bar which matches the small size ribbon bar mounted to the tunic!
A nice quality bar which was period time extended with the Anti-Communism medal which also shows the "CRIMEIA" clasp. Please note that the Iron Cross 2nd Class is only attached with a few stichtes and is about to fall off.

Personal photo album starting in 1936 with 117 photos inside. We don't know if his tunic is shown on a photo inside.

Certificate to the Iron Cross 1st Class issued on 1.8.1942. Very good condition. Folded once.
Certificate to the Krim Shield. Issued on 1.10.1942. Not folded. Minor signs of use.
Certificate to the East Medal. Folded once. August 1942 issued
Certificate to the Sudetenland Medal. Issued on 31.12.1939. Not folded-
Certificate to the Wound Badge in black. March 1942 issued Folded once.
Certificate to the Wound Badge in gold. Wounded 5 times! Issued on 15.12.1943. Folded once. He noted with pencil on the back where he was wounded!
Certificate to the Wound Badge in silver. Wounded three times! Issued on 13.11.1942. Not folded!
Certificate to the anti-Communism Medal issued in 1943.
Interesting certificate to the Infantry Assault badge in silver. Issued in August 1942. Folded twice. DIN A4 size.
Certificate to the Austria Medal. Folded once.
