The "Wilde Clique" had five very young members with Hans Blumstatt being one of them. During the Third Reich, they listened to foreign music and radio stations that were hosted by the "enemy". Together they damage the facilities of NS organizations eg. breaking windows and destroying display cases. In February 1941 the group was arrested and sent to prison in Niederlahnstein. With the exception of Hans Blumstatt, they all were released. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison. In early September 1944, he was released and immediately sent to serve the Wehrmacht. He was killed in action on the 21st of March 1945.
