Extremely rare NPEA Chained Service Dagger for a leader.

The blade shows the etched motto "Mehr sein als scheinen." "Karl Burgsmüller Berlin" maker/distributor marked on the reverse. Slight stains on both sides. Brown wooden handle with an inserted eagle. Similar in design to an SA dagger but without the SA emblem (roundel). No damage. Nickel-plated zinc crossguards. The handle is slightly loose ("wiggled").  

Original olive-brown painted scabbard with nickel-plated iron fittings. One small dent on the ball. Original attached nickel-silver dagger chain. "olc" maker marked and "Ges.Gesch." marked snap clip. It works fully. With the leather belt loop.

Slight signs of wear. The dagger is extremely and in nice condition.
