Description

A nice grouping to the Spanish Capitán Don Josè Ces Laine.

Order of the German Eagle 3rd Class with Swords on its original ribbon (1937-1943). Made from real silver. "900" hallmarked to the ring. Also "21" (Godet) maker marked. No chipping to the white enamel. With the matching red case of issue. Black velvet inlay. White silk lining. It shows the gold lettering "Deutscher Adlerorden V. Klasse mit Schwertern".

Please note: On 27. December 1943 the Order was reorganized into nine classes. The "old" 3rd Class became the 5th Class. Likewise, the order was renamed from "Verdienstkreuz des Ordens vom Deutschen Adler" to "Deutscher Adlerorden". 

Certificate to German Eagle 3rd Class with Swords (1937-1943). Issued on 5. June 1939. Facsimile signature Adolf Hitler and Meissner. A4-format. Including the original folder and envelope as well as two associated documents (blank).
