Description

Important grouping to Fallschirmjäger Leutnant Georg Huber. Huber was part of the Crete Campaign in May 1941.

Early M38 paratrooper helmet issued with both decals. Factory "apple-green" paint covering at least 90% of the shell. Nicely worn condition with minor rust to the top.
Both decals are in fantastic condition and again over 90%, if not 95%. Absolutely matching rivets with original paint. Inner aluminium ring with all pads complete and a nicely worn pair of 2nd pattern leather chin straps. About 1cm of a seam has opened. Pattern without press buttons. 
Leather lining with a "L.B.A.B.39" depot stamp. "Kopfweite Gr: 57" size marked. "Karl Heisler" maker marked. "Huber Fhj. Ofw." named. Leahter in fantastic condition with nice patina and minor signs of wear.

The shell is "4449" lot numbered and is again "Fhj.O.Fw. Huber" named. Furthermore, Huber wrote his unit to the rim. "Fall.Schirm-Jg. M.G.Batl."
This helmet was published as a rare outstanding original example in Roly Pickering's book "Fallschirmjäger (Volume 1)".

Nicely worn white summer type of a Luftwaffe EM/NCO visor cap. Yellow piping for paratroopers. Removable white top. Matching aluminum cap insignia. 
"Jens" maker marked to the intact celluloid diamond. White silk lining.

Initial buttons once added to the sweat-band but now removed. Small holes visible. Minor signs of year.
A little out of shape and hard inner cap band. 
No moth damage. Size 57.

His first pattern "Kreta" jumping smock. Professionally converted into a blouse. Typical green material with all PRYM 6 marked buttons complete and working. Working front "ZIPP" marked zipper. Two short horizontal zippers were added. Elastic straps added to the waist as well as a closure. The legs were cut-off.

The original factory markings can still be see. "38" dated. "IA" size marked. Maker marked.
Medium size. Modified, but still extremely rare! 

British tropical tunic captured in Crete and worn by Huber as a Fallschirmjäger Fahnenjuncker-Feldwebel. Period time attached insignia. Feldwebel collar tabs attached by machine. Well worn bleached example he must have taken from an earlier uniform. Moth damage. Slip-on boards with yellow piping in nice condition. One rank pip missing. Silver officer's candidate cord. Early yellow twisted cord attached around the collar.
Four pair of loops for awards to the left breast pocket. Hand-attached machine-embroidered breast eagle. Iron Cross ribbon attached by hand.
Stamps to the inside. Medium size.

Light-weight summer tunic period time dyed-in dark-blue. Again, a British pattern which was captured in Crete. Quite a few period time repairs.This tunic must have seen many years of service.
Officer's candicate Fahnenjuncker-Oberfeldwebel slip-on boards along with Feldwebel collar tabs. Tabs and NCO tress both machine-sewn.
Four pair of loops for awards to the left breast pocket. Hand-attached Iron Cross ribbon and embroidered breast eagle. A Luftwaffe shooting lanyard attached to the right shoulder board.

Luftwaffe flight blouse worn by Huber serving with a Luftwaffe "Kriegsschule". Fahnenjuncker-Feldwebel insignia. Hand-made "KS" (aluminum) cyphers attached to the yellow piped slip-on boards. Machine-attached collar tabs and NCO tress.
Hand-attached officer's breast eagle. All buttons complete and originally attached. Including a separate press button to close the tunic towards the bottom.  Five pair of loops (partially damaged) for 5 awards.  "B.A.Bf. 43" depot, size and Rb-number marked. Silk lining. Inside an inner pocket has hided a cloth Paratrooper Badge. Our consignor was not aware of it. 

Hand-attached KRETA cuff title in very nice condition.
Medium size. Some moth damage.

Brown leather map case with an early 1937 depot stamp. "Fl.Sch.Perleberg 38" unit marked and dated. "Huber Fhj.Fw.Lt." named. He also wrote his Feldpost number "L-23371" which stands for:  2. Kompanie Fallschirm-MG-Bataillon

Inner belt with a hanger for a sword or dagger. Two brown leather hangers for a sword or dagger.
Personal leather watch pocket with RAD and Luftwaffe insignia pinned to it. His period time compass with a webbing strap attached.
His Luftwaffe officer's dagger portepee in well worn condition. RAD and two Luftwaffe Fahnenjuncker-Feldwebel insignia. One Luftwaffe rank badge is "G.H." named.
His personal ID tag (1. BAU ERS.BATL.17".
