  You will receive an e-mail confirming your successful bids the day after the auction has ended. In your personal my ratisbon's you will be able to inform us about your most convenient payment method for this order or tell us about an alternative shipping address.
  
  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

The medal bar consists of a Hesse-Darmstadt, gold and enameled, Philip Order, Knight Cross 1st Class (1849 - 1919) as well as a Hesse-Darmstadt, hollow made, silver Commemorative Medal to the Wedding of Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig, 1905.

The medal was designed by Professor Habich reflecting on the Art Noveau movement. The Grand Duke was a huge supporter of this art form, which is reflected in various medal designs eclipsing in the creation of the Order Star of Brabant.

The medal was given to all attendees of the Wedding on February 2, 1905.

Beautiful Hessian medal bar with an unfortunate ink stain on the ribbon of the wedding medal.
