Description

A Bavarian M1886 spike helmet for an infantry reserve officer.

Typical leather corpus with gilded brass fittings (cruciform base, chin scales, front plate, and fluted spike). Originally attached reserve cross to the Bavarian front helmet plate. Furthermore both original cockades in place.

Brown leather sweatband as well as officer's lining. "Arnold" named inside.

An untouched helmet in good condition.
