Description

M40 Heer tunic which was period time converted into an early M36 tunic for fashion reason! I belonged to an Oberfeldwebel serving with Inf.Rgt.33 as a "Spieß".

A dark green collar was added as well as an early machine-woven m36 breast eagle and early dark green boards.

The insignia are definitely period time attached. The breast eagle is attached by hand, the collar tabs are attached by machine. Minor moth damage to the shoulder boards.

The buttons look re-attached. This Oberfeldwebel preferred the silver parade style.

Machine-attached "Spieß" tress rings to both sleeves.

Typical cloth lining with size markings and a "Lago" Nürnberg distributor stamp.

A shooting lanyard 4th class as well as zinc infantry assault badge in silver and a black wound badge are attached to the tunic. Period time attached loops! Including a ribbon bar.

Minor moth bites. No real holes.
Medium size.

Including a Soldbuch cover as well as a photo of the former owner wearing a similar, but not the same tunic!
