Description

Grouping to the German Prisoner of War Franz Frittum. He was captured in the POW camp at Carrog, UK. Both, tunic and trousers, come with a name tag.

German SS-Verfügungstruppe trousers show multiple repairs and were certainly worn during the war and as POW. The working drill tunic is in better condition.

Part of the grouping is a "Magistrat der Stadt Wien" ID (so-called "Fürsorgekarte") issued to him on 21.8.1945.

This ID proofs that he was politically persecuted during the Third Reich.
