Rare Waffen-SS M40 tunic. It was originally found it the stock of a French costume agency.
The tunic comes with stripped collar tabs and cuff band. The machine-embroidered sleeve eagle (RZM type) is still there. Part of the seam have opened.
The collar of the tunic was taken off. You can see the shadow of SS tabs. There is a "LE" stitched to the inside as well as a "146"number tag.
You can see the tunic was might slightly a bit slimmer when you look at the reverse. Parts were sewn together by hand to smaller the waist size once. So this tunic has certainly seen some service!
Cotton lining. Small parts were cut out. "SS-BW" stamped as well as size stamps. Clear traces and threads left of the cuff band.
