Description
Luftwaffe Flak officers'-pattern, white-coloured field-tunic ('Sommerfeldbluse') as was used by a captain who served within an air-force, anti-aircraft-unit .

The tunic comes in an overall nice (albeit clearly used- and/or worn-), condition and is a typical example of a privately-purchased and/or tailor-made summer-tunic. It was constructed from typical, roughly-styled linnen and is totally void of any makers'-designation nor size-indication. It is also void of any lining.

The tunic shows the (typical) officers'-type collar-patches as piped in bright-red wool attached: these are somewhat (moth) damaged and were attached by hand. Next to this, does the tunic show a pair of white-piped (possibly naval-related) shoulderboards attached which do show double pips and medical-related 'Aesculapus'-cyphers attached. These boards were with certainty later attached (they do not belong to this tunic).

The piece shows a typical (steel-metal-based) LW-officers-type eagle-device ('Brustadler') attached (which is an unmarked example that comes mounted on its functional pin-/catch set-up). Moreover, does it come with a set of silver-coloured LW-type aiguilettes attached (denoting that the officer served as an aid or 'Adjutant'.)

The tunic retains all its silver-toned and period-attached buttons in place and shows a five-pieced medal-bar ('Band- o. Feldspange') attached (that shows an interesting combination having two Spanish-related medals included). The tunic shows the typical 'pleaded' upper- and under-pockets (as were specific for this pattern summer-tunic).

The tunic shows minimal wear, age and/or (brownish) staining (but is void of any real damage or alike) and has an approximate waist of 92 cms. and will as such fit a medium-sized mannequin.
