Description

Interesting grouping to Wilhelm Londberg serving with Kaiserliche Marine, II. Matrosendivision in China and South West Africa.

Period time framed 8-place medal bar with 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Honor Cross of WWI for widows and orphans, Prussian China Campaign Medal for non-combatants,
South West Africa Campaign Medal for non combatants, Wehrmacht Long Service Awards for 25 years, Wehrmacht Long Service Award for 12 years, 1892 Württemberg Merit Medal in silver and Prussian Kaiser Wilhelm I. Commemorative Medal 1897.

Nice period time frame. "F. Radspieler, München" marked to the reverse. No chipped. Including the matching 8-place miniature chain (16mm-miniatures).

Certificates to War Commemorative Medal 1870-1871 (22.03.1897), Württemberg Merit Medal in silver (12.05.1900), Military Long Service Award 2nd Class for 15 years (18.06.1901), China Campaign Medal (27.01.1902), South West Africa Campaign Medal (14.12.1907), 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class (23.12.1917), Military Long Service Award for 25 years (01.04.1920), Honor Cross of WWI for partens (02.08.1935) and Wehrmacht Kriegsmarine Long Service Award for 25 years (02.10.1936).

Six period time promotion documents and three letters of thanks for his military service. One signed by Reichspräsident Paul von Hindenburg and the other two by Reichskriegsminister Werner von Blomberg (later Generalfeldmarschall).

Sixteen period time documents. Consisting of letters, postcards, newspaper cuttings and death notices. His son Rudolf Londberg was killed in action on 20.01.1918. He served in WWI with S.M.S. "Breslau".

Furthermore one Imperial folder with a nice gilt eagle to the front.

Excellent grouping in nice condition 2.
