A very nice clean and wide nickel-plated steel blade. So-called "Steckückenklinge mit Schör". No maker's mark. Gilt brass hilt fittings. The grip is finished with real ray skin. Intact wire warping. A lion's head pommel with two red glass eyes. Two crossed swords and flags on the front langet. Also, a lion's head on the end of the crossguard. "Geschütztes Muster" stamped on the bottom. The scabbard comes with full original black paint. No dents.

A "heavy" cavalry sabre.

Nice condition. Not easy to find!
