Description

Extremely rare documents to Obergefreiter Pfirmann serving as sniper with Grenadier-Regiment 689 from at least 1943. His grouping was never available on the market before and was given from his later wife, Anneliese B., to her nurse as a present in 2019. Anneliese B. spent her last days in an old people's home and died in 2020.

Color printed certificate awarded for outstanding achievement as a sniper: ".... für seine hervorragenden Leistungen als Scharfschütze meine besondere Anerkennung aus."
"SCHARFSCHÜTZE" is printed in red color. His name, rank and unit are filled out by hand with red color.
Issued to "Obergefreiten Pfirmann" serving with "2. Kompanie / Grenadier-Reigment 689" on "1. Mai 1944". Orginal ink signature of Generalfeldmarschall Ernst Busch.

DIN A4 size. Not folded. Small spots and bends.

Two page (folded) printed certificate awarded for outstanding achievement as a sniper achieving 39 confirmed kills: "... spreche ich für 39 erzielte Abschüsse meine Anerkennung aus." The 39 kills were achieved within six months. The left page confirms "In der Zeit vom: 1.6.43 - 15.12.43" (hand-written). His name and rank is also written by hand and so is "39" and the date of issue: "16.12.1943".

Original ink signature of an unknown General der Infanterie.

The certificate was designed by the war artist Hans Möller-Porta. Most probably as a woodcarving. It shows a picture of a Wehrmacht sniper to the left. He signed "Möller-Porta 1943".

Folded. Bends. One 1cm long rip. Signs of age. Size: 36cm x 24cm (not folded).

Grouping to his later wife Anneliese B. including period time documents such as her RADwJ ID card with originally attached photograph.  She wrote a note about her service from 1941 until 14.5.1945 in modern days confirming she served with the RADwJ and as a Flak helper in Fürth, Rüsselsheim and Mainz. All documents were kept in the original "Beilagen zum Bescheid" envelope.
