Medals for significant deed

Medal for significant deed is awarded in two sizes, first and second size. It is minted in gold and diplomas are issued. The medal is awarded as a reward for community service, positions of trust or other non-profit activities that are of a long-term nature and particularly significant for Swedish society.

The first size (diameter 41 mm) is worn by men in bands around the neck and by women in bows on the left side of the chest.

The second size (diameter 35.5 mm) is worn by men in ribbons and by women in bows on the left side of the chest.

This example is dedicated to Olga Sundqvist in 1939. The medal shows various Swedish makers and gold content marks. On bow for ladies and original case of issue.
